Three-quarters of UK teens are worried about how global warming will affect them – and people elsewhere in the world, according to a Unicef survey. They want the government to take action and show strong leadership. That same government, has of course been busy drafting new national curriculum guidelines that will remove discussion of climate change from the classes of students under the age of 14.

You can read a fuller report of the Unicef poll on the Mother Nature Network, and you can read the BBC story here about how one 15-year-old was so angered by Michael Gove’s decision that she started a petition and took it to the Department of Education.
